Investigators are hoping to solve a 22-year-old mystery in Huerfano County through digital reconstruction images. In August 1999, the skeletal remains of a woman were found near Walsenburg. A forensic artist has released new images of the woman, one of which you can see above. She was around 5′ 8″ and between 130-145 pounds. Investigators say she was likely around 30-45 years old at the time of her death. Her race is unclear, but could’ve been white with American Indian or Hispanic heritage. Her hair was dark and in dreadlocks. Investigators believe that foul play played a roled in her death. If anyone has any information, please contact the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
