The D-3 school bus driver who hit a car in Fountain on Dec. 1 has been placed on leave by the district. The accident happened near the intersection of Fountain Mesa Road and Hurley Drive. The bus driver hit a car and left the scene of the accident. That driver returned after police headed to the crash site. No students were injured, and the crash is currently under investigation. The driver could face criminal charges.
