A woman is in custody this morning after shooting at a Colorado State Patrol Trooper on I-25 near the El Paso/Douglas county line yesterday morning. She was allegedly driving a stolen car, ran from police, hit a police car and exchanged gunshots with law enforcement. The woman crashed her car into a guardrail then pulled a handgun attempting to steal another car. Soon after, the woman and the trooper exchanged shots. No one was injured, and the woman’s name hasn’t been released.
