Colorado Springs Police are asking the public to avoid the 6300 block of Northwind Drive where a sinkhole opened up early this morning. The road is in Stetson Hills. Barricades have been set up and repairs will be conducted on the road as soon as possible. Officers were able to help save a car that fell into a sinkhole. The vehicle had to be towed and has extensive damage. The water main near Vickers and Dublin was broken by the hole, and the current ETA on repairs is about eight hours, according to Springs Utilities.
