A Colorado Springs convicted in the death of a 22-year-old woman

A Colorado Springs man will spend the rest of his life in prison for the murder of a 22-year-old woman whose body was found along Highway 24 in July of 2020. Investigators say Dedrea Duncan died from a single shot to the forehead. This week James Walker was convicted of murder in the First Degree for Duncan’s death. According to Colorado’s 4th judicial district, Walker murdered Duncan over a drug debt owed to the 81st crips.
