It looks like a busy travel weekend is in store for those heading out of town this Holiday. An estimated 4.6 million people across America are expected to fly, which is close to pre-Pandemic Era levels. Dana Schield, PIO with the Colorado Springs Airport, says the airport is expecting 20% more travelers this holiday season than Christmas time 2020. AAA of Colorado says following the dramatic decrease in travel during in the Pandemic, and they expect 2021’s holiday volume to be comparable to 2017 travel volume.
