A semi-truck driver is headed back to court today. The trucker, Rogel Aguilera-Mederos received a 110-year prison sentence last week, for his role in a 2019 crash on I-70 in Lakewood that left four people dead. The judge in the case said he was forced to give the maximum sentence in the case due to Colorado law. A large public outcry, including a rally at the state capitol and an online petition with over three million signatures, led to today’s hearing.
