Across the country, the number of COVID cases continues to rise. Many experts say this is due in part to the Omicron variant being highly contagious. El Paso County Public Health reports that in the last week, they’ve seen over 4,000 positive cases of COVID. Over 2,000 were reported in the last three days. The Center for Disease Control may reevaluate COVID quarantine proceedures due to the rising numbers.
