One man is behind bars this morning for allegedly firing a gun at an Old Chicago restaurant yesterday. Officers say gunfire broke out around 10:30 last night at the restaurant, which is near the intersection of North Academy and Austin Bluffs. A witness said several patrons were able to wrestle away the gun from the suspected shooter before the suspect ran away. Officers were able to trace the suspect and later arrested William Thomas III. Detectives say one bullet shattered the glass door into the restaurant, but no injuries were reported.
