Springs Chief of Police announces retirement

Colorado Springs Police Chief Vince Niski has announced his retirement effective March 4th of this year. He has served Colorado Springs for 33 years. The Police chief began his career with the department in 1989 and took on many different roles, including patrol, metro vice, and narcotics. He was appointed chief of police in 2019. Nisky says his primary reason for retiring is to spend more time with his family.
