Springs Police say they’ve arrested someone on potential burglary charges, who may have suffering from mental health issues. A resident reported an unknown person in their home in the 5900 block of Conductors Point around 4:30 this morning. Officers surrounded the home and made announcements telling the suspect to come out. Eventually, officers say the resident was able to detain the suspect at gunpoint, and he was later arrested. The suspect was identified as Stephen Smith.
