Monday morning in Aurora, an apartment fire. Aurora firefighters say the blaze broke out at the Bella Terra at City Center Apartment Homes on east Evans avenue near Illiff. 1 child reportedly died after being taken to a hospital. 3 other people were hospitalized in unknown condition. Aurora firefighters say there was a “significant overhaul” underway, and that stairwells, located on both sides of the apartment building had failed. No early word on how the fire began.
