A Falcon brush fire is now out

EL PASO COUNTY– A brush fire burning in the Falcon area is under control. The blaze was burning near the twelve-thousand-four-hundred block of Falcon Highway and Meridian. Falcon division chief John Webb says the fire is now under control, and crews are mopping up hot spots. He says the fire mainly was wind-driven. No primary structures were lost, although two outbuildings were destroyed. Fortunately, no humans or pets were injured.
