One person is dead, after reportedly being hit by a Springs Fire Department vehicle yesterday afternoon. Springs police say CSFD was headed to a reported tree stump fire near downtown. When the vehicle went into Dorchester Park, fire officials say it struck that person. Lieutenant Shannon Snuggs says that firefighters got out to help – but the person had already died. Snuggs says that it’s too early to know if anyone will face charges. Springs Police are now investigating the incident, and more information will likely be released today.
