THE CLEANUP CONTINUES IN CRIPPLE CREEK AFTER A LARGE HAIL STORM MOVED THE TOWN FRIDAY CAUSING EXTENSIVE DAMAGE. BUSINESSES AND PERSONAL PROPERTY WERE POUNDED BY WHAT SOME SAY WAS THE LARGEST HAIL STORM THEY HAVE EVER SEEN IN THE MOUNTAIN TOWN. AT THE OLD HOMESTEAD HOUSE MUSEUM AN ORIGINAL SKYLIGHT FROM 1896 WAS DESTROYED, SENDING ANTIQUE GLASS FLYING. DOZENS OF VEHICLES SUFFERED BROKEN WINDSHIELDS, AND HOMEOWNERS ALSO HAD OTHER PERSONAL PROPERTY DESTROYED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES REPORTED.
