The El Paso County Sheriff’s department says one of their deputies was arrested Tuesday. Deputies were called to a business on Fountain Mesa road. They were told a man entered that business and touched a female inappropriately then left the store. The suspect was identified as 34 year old Christopher Ramirez, a deputy for El Paso County. Deputies picked up Ramirez and took him into custody. He is now out on bond. Ramirez has been placed on administrative leave. He has worked for the department since 2024.
