Colorado Springs Police took a man into custody who was considered a prolific offender. Police say Mario Beltran was wanted on several warrants and was under investigation by the Metro Retail Pawn Metal and Organized Crime Unit. He was spotted Friday night near a business close to North Academy and Woodman Road. Beltran ran as police approached. He was brought down by a taser and arrested. Beltran had arrest warrants from the El Paso County Sheriff’s office, Denver, and Pueblo counties.
