Colorado Springs Police continue to investigate after 2 women walked into police headquarters Saturday afternoon and reported the death of a man. The women led police to a home in the 4000 block of Tappan Drive near Academy and Palmer Park where they found a man deceased. That person remains unidentified and police have not released a cause of death. They are treating this as a homicide. They did arrest 62 year old Shelly Wilson, one of the women who reported the incident. She has been charged with second degree murder and tampering with a body. As far as we know the other woman has not been charged. The man’s identity and cause of death will be released by the el paso county coroner’s office.
