COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Colorado Springs Police are on the lookout for an older model black van…that’s the vehicle used in what could be an attempted kidnapping Sunday night.
A 15-year-old boy was riding his bicycle near Delmonico and West Rockrimmon when a black van approached and a male passenger leaned out and told the teen to slow down.
The vehicle pulled over and the passenger got out and grabbed the boy by the shoulder. The 15-year-old punched the suspect in the stomach and peddled away.
The passenger is a Hispanic male, 25 to 35 year old, with a bald head. The van had no side doors and two rear hatch doors.
