GREELEY, CO – Officials have capped a broken gas line that sparked a large fire in Weld County on Thursday.
Residents within a two-mile radius in Greeley were told to evacuate after an explosion at the Wells Ranch. It happened as an employee was digging a trench, and hit a 12-inch gas line.
The blast sent flames into the air and started a grass fire. No one was injured.
