FOUNTAIN, CO – A Fountain Police Officer involved in a deadly shooting last week has been identified as 44-year-old Jonathan Kay. He shot 17-year-old Patrick O’Grady during a family disturbance at a home on Legend Oak Drive last Thursday. The teen later died at a hospital.
Authorities have not said what led to the shooting.
Officer Kay remains on paid administrative leave, as the incident is investigated by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
