COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Thousands are expected to attend funeral services this afternoon for fallen UCCS Police Officer Garrett Swasey. He was killed a week ago in the shootings at a Planned Parenthood clinic.
The service is open to the public and will be held at 1:00 p.m. at New Life Church.
All roads in and around the church will be closed for traffic control beginning at noon. After the funeral, the procession will leave the church and drive south on I-25 to Garden Of The Gods Road, past the UCCS campus to Union, then head to Evergreen Cemetery.
