DENVER, CO – A woman stabbed Denver’s fire chief after jumping into his vehicle near the department’s headquarters.
The suspect entered Chief Eric Tade’s SUV Tuesday afternoon and stabbed him in the hand and leg. Tade was hospitalized with minor injuries and was released Tuesday evening.
42-year-old Marlene Rodriguez was arrested for aggravated assault.
Police are still looking for a motive, and investigators don’t know whether the chief and the woman knew each other.
