COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Expect some big changes for your morning commute. After some major closures and detours over the weekend, the southbound ramps for the Cimarron exit are open, and it’s much different than the old clover leaf-style ramp.
The new off-ramp begins a good distance before the old one…only about a quarter mile south of the Bijou exit. The new on-ramp from Cimarron to I-25 takes a more sweeping angle and connects much closer to Nevada and Tejon.
CDOT advises you to take it slow and allow extra time to get familiar with the new alignment.
