The Colorado Springs City Planning Commission has set a public hearing for July 23rd beginning at 9am to hear from proponents and opponents of a proposed A-I center that wants to move into a building on West Garden of the Gods. Company representatives will lay out their plans at the meeting. There will also be time set aside for public comment. Residents must sign up the day of to speak at the meeting. After both sides are heard the commission will make its decision. Residents living in the area have been fighting the plans because of what they feel will be too much noise coming from the plant and too much water usage. The meeting will be at the Ent Center for the Arts at 5225 North Nevada on the UCCS campus
