Two Facebook petitions in Colorado Springs are calling on the resignation of the CEO of Colorado Springs Utlities and for a 3rd party audit of springs utilities finances. Those who started the petitions say prices have skyrocketed and accuse C-S-U of putting profits ahead of customer service. A spokesman for Colorado springs utilities say prices have gone up because of a hot summer where air conditioners are being used a lot, and because a price increase was approved by city council with the dollars being used to support new utilities infrastructure.
