One person was taken into custody by Colorado Springs Police after a robbery attempt over the weekend. Two calls came in of a disturbance and attempted robbery at a business on Airport Road west of Powers. Store employees initially were able to lock that person out of the business, but they forced their way in and reportedly threatened an employee with a razor. Police rushed to the scene and caught 48 year old Tamil Mitchell as he was trying to leave. He has been accused of felony menacing and burglary.
