A busy Tuesday for Colorado Springs City Council as they approved a slight rate decrease for Colorado Springs Utilities customers that will save them an average of 1.54 cents a month. Council also approved a change affecting solar net metering customers. It affects residents who connect their home solar panel system to the city’s power grid. Those customers will see their monthly bill raised by at least 30 dollars per month. That change is expected to affect about 11 thousand customers.
