A tragic end to the search for two hikers who have been missing since last Friday northwest of Buena Vista. 19 year old Kaden Matsuda and 20 year old Jackson Donlon were found dead Wednesday afternoon by Chaffee County Search and Rescue. The two had planned to hike Ice Mountain and were due back last Sunday. One of their cars was found, and a tent they were camping in was also located. The 2 were found dead Wednesday afternoon. Despite their ages both were considered experienced hikers. Heavy snow may have played a role in their deaths. That bad weather hampered search efforts. The Chaffee County Coroner will determine a cause of death.
