FOWLER, CO – A large blaze is burning near Fowler, in southeastern Colorado.
Around 130 acres have been scorched so far, and crews from nine agencies have been able to increase containment to 85 percent. At least three structures are threatened.
The Fowler River Fire broke out Wednesday afternoon as a controlled burn. The person responsible will not face any charges because authorities say the fire was an accident.
