
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – The victim of a deadly shooting in Colorado Springs Sunday has been identified as 23-year-old Jessie Garcia.
He was shot outside a Taco Bell at Brookside and South Nevada. No arrests have been made.
News 5 reports, the shooter and victim may have known each other. A neighbor says he instantly recognized the primer gray Scout International shown in news clips of the crime scene as belonging to his neighbor Jack Rogers. He said Rogers is 80 years old and constantly carries a handgun with him. Rogers is also a neighbor of Garcia’s grandmother.
Police say there’s no danger to the public, and that the principle parties have been identified.
