No flights in or out of the Colorado Springs Airport today

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – No flights in or out of the Colorado Springs Airport today.

The facility is completely closed to travelers after a fire on the roof last night.

Airport spokeswoman Aiden Ryan says right now, the building is unsafe.

Parts of the roof reportedly fell into the terminal.

No injuries were reported.

The cause is under investigation.

Passengers should contact air carriers to reschedule flights and the airport will also reach out to all affected fliers.
