COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Colorado Springs Police have re-opened a cold case homicide investigation.
In 1999, 23 year old Jennifer Watkins was found dead in a stairwell at memorial hospital central.
She died from blunt force trauma.
Three days later, her body was discovered.
Now, investigators have used DNA technology to narrow down a suspect, however, no arrests have been made.
As detectives close in on the alleged killer, anyone with information is asked to contact Springs police.
