MONUMENT, CO – The town of Monument Board of Trustees voted unanimously late Monday to fire town manager Chris Lowe, who had been on administrative leave since February amid an internal investigation regarding workplace conduct.
Lowe was placed on leave after he placed Monument’s police chief, Jacob Shirk, on administrative leave following a negative performance review.
Shirk’s suspension was quickly lifted.
