A man accused of killing his son is scheduled to appear before a La Plata County judge on Friday for his arraignment.
56-year old Mark Redwine is facing charges of second-degree murder and felony child abuse in the death of 13-year old Dylan Redwine.
In 2012, Dylan, who was from Monument, was visiting his father’s home outside Durango when he disappeared.
Some of his remains were found years later and it wasn’t until a few years ago that his death was ruled a homicide.
Mark Redwine was identified as the suspect and was arrested last summer in Washington.
