It’s official, a 10,000-seat outdoor stadium for the Switchbacks minor league soccer team and a 3,000-seat indoor arena for Colorado College’s men’s hockey team is soon to be a reality.
Both projects are part of the City for Champions Initiative, and neither will use taxpayer dollars.
The anticipated completion date for the downtown events center and arena is 2020.
