Colorado Springs officials recently introduced a homelessness action plan for 2019 featuring 8 goals they would like to reach.
The city is already working towards these goals, including adding 400 low-barrier shelter beds ahead of the winter.
The city also wants to add affordable housing and a work program for the homeless.
City officials are hosting a series of town-halls to discuss the 8 point homelessness action plan.
The next event will be November 25th at the police operations center in downtown Colorado Springs.
