Colorado Springs animal shelters are stepping in following the closure of Paws for Life Shelter in Pueblo.
The Happy Cats Haven rescue shelter says about 100 cats came from Pueblo, and they’ve been able to find a safe place for them.
However, many of the felines are under quarantine, suffering from upper respiratory infections.
Happy Cats Haven says some of the medical treatments can be expensive and they could use some help in the form of donations.
