Congressman Doug Lamborn and Governor Jared Polis are encouraging the Colorado Department of Transportation to improve Highway 94, the road in between Schriever and Peterson Air Force Bases.
The Department Of Defense is considering multiple locations for the U.S. Space Command and Colorado Springs is on the list, prompting the push for improvements to Highway 94.
In a news release Lamborn said, “One of the many factors the Department of Defense considers when looking to stand up a new command is transportation and accessibility.”
