Authorities are looking for a suspect involved in a pedestrian hit and run on July 13th.
It happened at the intersection of North Academy Blvd. and North Carefree Circle just after midnight.
A pedestrian was attempting to cross the street when they were struck by a southbound vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed.
The victim lost their leg as a result of the crash.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a red or orange 2003 through 2007 Ford Focus with damage to the passenger side.
