Denver radio station 710 KNUS cancelled one of their shows after the co-host wished out loud Tuesday for what he called a “nice school shooting,” to distract everyone from the presidential impeachment.
Chuck Bonniwell made the comment, on what used to be the Chuck & Julie Show, with his wife, former television reporter Julie Hayden. Bonniwell finished the Tuesday show after his comment and was back on Wednesday, until several other media reported what he said.
John Castillo, whose son Kendrick died in the STEM School Highlands Ranch shooting last May, says cancelling the show is the “bare minimum” that am 710 KNUS could do.
