El Paso County is working to assess its compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and fix problem areas.
County commissioners unanimously approved an ADA transition plan during a meeting Thursday.
The county has identified over $3 million in needs so far and plans to continue adding to that list.
The county’s office has about $600,000 to work on meeting ADA compliance goals next year.
