A tragic accident has all lanes closed at South Academy and Fountain Thursday morning. A speeding car ran a red light and hit an 18 wheel truck that was turning onto South Academy. 2 people are dead and a 3rd person is injured. The truck driver was not hurt. This accident comes less than 24-hours since a crash Wednesday morning involving a hazardous materials situation closed the intersection. This is also the third fatal crash in Colorado Springs since Tuesday.
