Peaceful protests are planned Friday around Colorado, including here in Colorado Springs, by high school football players and their families. They are upset the Colorado High School Activities Association is postponing high school football until the Spring. Earlier this week there was hope CHSAA would reverse the decision, with Governor Jared Polis pledging support. But the CHSAA board voted to leave their plans in place. The springs protest begins at 3:30 at the El Paso County Commissioners Office at 200 Cascade Avenue.
