(Congressman Doug Lamborn)

COLORADO SPRINGS – Congressman Doug Lamborn says he won’t be getting tested for COVID-19 despite a report that at least one of his staffers has tested positive for the virus. Lamborn’s spokesperson, Cassandra Sebastian, would not confirm how many staffers have tested positive for the virus and said it was out of respect for their privacy.
Sebastian tells 9 News-TV in Denver that he’s been advised by a doctor working for the U.S. House of Representatives that he doesn’t need to be tested at this time. Congressman Lamborn says he plans to monitor his own health and follow the doctor’s advice, while his staff will work virtually for the next two weeks as a precaution.
