El Paso County and the city of Colorado Spring file a counter-proposal to the state’s 5 Star Program

COLORADO – El Paso County and Colorado Springs have filed a counter-proposal to the state’s 5-star program that would immediately allow 25 percent of indoor capacity with a maximum of 2 households per table and an increase of capacity in two weeks if COVID-19 numbers continue to decrease. The 5-star program aims to reward restaurants and businesses that follow the state’s covid-19 guidelines. However, the city and county say it’s not an effective solution,  it’s an administrative burden, and its expensive.
