A friend of Barry Morphew was arrested earlier this week by Chafee County deputies. Shoshona Darke was seen on security video walking up to Morphew’s former home in Maysville and taking a package left at the front door. The property now has a new owner. Darke is accused of trespassing. She appeared in a Chafee County court Wednesday. Morphew is accused of first degree murder in the disappearance and presumed death of his wife Suzanne. He is out on bond. Darke is well known in the Salida area. It’s believed Morphew and Darke had been dating. Authorities have not said what was in the package taken by Darke.
