A student is facing charges, and Vista Ridge High School is back open today after a threat on Dec. 6 canceled all classes. District 49 closed the school yesterday after a pattern of “assaultive behavior.” Specifically what the threat against the school had not been released. Springs Police say that a student was arrested on charges of interference with school staff and juvenile possession of a firearm. The investigation into the incident continues, and as of this morning, police say they don’t believe there are any credible threats to the school.
