District 49 says that a student at Vista Ridge High School did not have a gun on campus, even though that student is facing charges for juvenile in possession of a firearm. The school has been investigating what it describes as increasing “assaultive behavior” at the school. District 49 officials held a meeting with parents last night about that investigation. The school was one of several in the area investigating alleged threats of violence.
