Six Omicron Cases in El Paso

As of today, El Paso County has six confirmed omicron cases. Across the entire state, there are 135 omicron cases. In Denver County, there are 43 cases of omicron, the most of any county in Colorado. El Paso County Public Health says it recently updated its policies on isolation after covid exposure to match recent Centers for Disease Control guidance. Under the new policy, anyone who tests positive for COVID must isolate for five days if asymptomatic, followed by five days of wearing a mask.
